Hi everyone !
I don’t remember if I’ve already told it to you or not, but if I write this blog, it is for my English lesson. If I’ve changed my blog’s theme, it’s actually because our English teacher gave us free rein to choose our subjects. And today I’m a bit bothered because I have difficulties to find an interesting theme.

To help me finding it, I already tried to ask myself stupid questions like “Mathilde, what interests you?” “Is there a subject about which you want to know more?”. Haha. What a help!

Well let me list you the amazing themes about which I thought:
-          A critic of The Lord of the Rings (my favorite movies J)
-          My point of view about the attack in Paris
-          Books of Ken Follett
-          The life of Rasputin (a fascinating character)

After one day of break and of reflection during which I went to school (what an amazing life!), I’ve finally found my subject: my opinion about the Danish television series : Borgen.

Borgen relates the life of a fictive Danish politician: Birgitte Nyborg who became prime minister of her country. We can concretely see the difficulty that she has to face during his term of office (inside her private and professional life). She is up for re-election but her approval rating makes a free fall and she fails. In the second season she is fighting to regain power.
Although this series isn’t very famous, it is very interesting. Borgen shows very well the machinery of state and the relation between politicians and media.

I naturally encourage you to watch this exciting series but you are absolutely not obliged (it's a free country!) J
Bye!
